We need YOUR help!

We are putting the final touches on our September boxes!  We are having a hard time deciding on 2 flavors!  Please comment with what 2 flavors you would like to see!

S’Mores Marshmallow Pops

Who doesn’t love S’Mores?  Our July box featured some of our favorite camping themed items!  For a fun and easy treat, I made S’Mores Marshmallow Pops.  Have the kids help make these, they’ll have so much fun!

You will need:

-skewers, cake pop stick or straws- I used the straws from our July box

-semi-sweet chocolate chips- I used about 1/2 a bag

-large marshmallows

-about 1/2 a package graham crackers

Put graham crackers in a ziplock bag, or in a food processor and crush.  My little one loved helping with this!  IMG_2485

Transfer to a bowl.  In small bowl, microwave chocolate for about 45 seconds, stir.  If needed, microwave for 30 more seconds until completely melted.IMG_2486

Dip end of straw in chocolate, then add marshmallow to straw.  Dip about 1/2 of marshmallow in chocolate, then sprinkle with graham cracker.  Let set for about an hour and enjoy!  I put the finished pops in a glass jar to harden.  If you have left over graham crackers, save them for our S’Mores Push Pops!

No Bake New Years Cake Pops

You Will Need:

-1 package of Oreo Cookies

-8 oz. Cream Cheese

-Paper Straws

-Candy Melts-White, Chocolate or color of your choice

-Black and/or Gold Sanding Sugars

-Edible Stars

-Styrofoam block

In a food processor, grind 1 package of Oreo cookies until fine crumbs.  Transfer to a bowl, using your hands, mix 8 oz. of cream cheese with your Oreo cookie crumbs.  Roll dough into 1″ balls and let chill for 15 minutes.  Melt your candy melts.  Dip the base of your round ball into the candy melts.  Insert the paper straw in the bottom.  Use the Styrofoam to keep your cupcake pops upright while the candy is hardening.  Chill your cupcake pops for 10 minutes.  Once hardened and straw is firm, dip the rest of cake pop into candy melts till completely covered.  Before the candy hardens sprinkle with sanding sugars and add star.  Tip- add a little bit of candy melt to back of star to attach to cake pop.  Enjoy and Happy New Year!!!
